Panda Onigiri

Free Amigurumi Food - Onigiri or rice ball is one of famous Japanese food. I am Indonesian and people in my country eat rice as their main food.. that is why i love onigiri.. But what can i say... I can not cook onigiri but i can crochet it.. And this what I've made.. cute panda onigiri... I hope you will like it too..

Abbreviations:
Sc: Single crochet

Materials:
2 mm crochet hook
White and black yarn
Pink or yellow felt
Needle for sewing
Fiberfill stuff

Sew the hole after you stuff the rice nicely.


Seaweed (Nori):
Ch 11
R1: sc in second chain from hook, 9 sc in next 9 stitches (10)
R2: ch 1, turn sc in each st (10)
R3-18: rep R2

Ears (make 2):
Using black
R1: ch 2, starting from second chain from hook 5 sc
R2: inc around (10)
R3: 4 sc, inc, rep 2x (12)
R4: sc around
F/O leaving a long tail for sewing

Finishing:

• Sew nori to bottom of rice
• Sew ears on right and left side of rice.
• Using black yarn, sew nose to rice
• Cut small black felt to make eyes, then glue them to rice.
• Cut small pink felt to make blushes (optional), then glue them.
