Watermelon

Very simple amigurumi watermelon.... Free pattern...

Abbreviations:
sc: single crochet    
ch: chain
st: stitch
inc : increase
dec: decrease
F/O: Fasten off

Materials:
2 mm crochet hook
Cotton yarn in green, white, red or yellow
Needle for sewing
Stuff

Note: Work in continuous round

Watermelon:
Using green
Ch 15
R1: starting from second chain from hook, sc in each st (14sc),
R2-3: ch 1, turn, sc in each st (14)
In next round we’re going to work in four sides of this base.

 R4: CC to white: ch 1, sc in each side of left part of rows (3 sc), sc in each st of bottom side (14 sc), sc in each side of right part of rows (3 sc), sc in each st of upper side (14 sc) (34 sc in total)
R5: CC to red, sc around
R6: 15 sc, dec, rep 2x (32)
R7: 14 sc, dec, rep 2x (30)
R8: sc around
R9: 4 sc, dec, rep 5x (25)
R10: sc around
R11: 3 sc, dec, rep 5x (20)
R12: sc around
R13: 2 sc, dec, rep 5 x (15)
R14: sc around
stuff
R15: sc, dec, rep 5x (10)
R16: sc around
Stuff
R17: 5 dec
F/O (leave a long tail if you want to add a key chain)

Finishing:
Use black yarn and sew on watermelon to make seed.
Attach keychain, give a little sew (optional)
